About
Kerman Ehya Barchasb Manufacturing commenced operations in 2000 with the objective of producing vulcanizable labels (for use in moulds or on uncured rubber components). These products-designed to imprint technical specifications and logos during the vulcanization process on various rubber goods-were compliant with tire industry standards from inception. Within a short period, the company developed a proprietary colour compound containing chemical activators that form an inseparable bond with rubber.
Among the most critical features of this formula is its inclusion of curing agents that activate at 140-160°C, forming a chemical bond with rubber components. Quality control tests have demonstrated these labels maintain stability even under heavy loads and high speeds. This technology, entirely developed by the company's in-house experts, has additionally achieved a 15% reduction in energy consumption during the vulcanization process.
Subsequently, to address the needs of tire manufacturing plants, the company initiated a strategic partnership with Barez Rubber Company and successfully developed worker identification tags with a precision of 0.1 mm. In the initial phase, the adhesive used on the back of the labels was a rubber compound type, applied as separate pieces on a special plastic carrier. Field research by the company revealed this method faced multiple challenges:
Peeling of labels during production due to the compound's thickness (0.8 mm)
Risk of final product contamination by the protective plastic
Limited storage time (maximum 6 months)
Insufficient adhesion in various environmental conditions
After one year of research and development, the company developed a new liquid adhesive formula that achieved a 90% reduction in thickness (to 0.08 mm) while providing stable adhesion. The design of a dedicated machine with advanced optical sensors solved the problem of uniform adhesive application without affecting the main print. These innovations led to significant improvements:
Increased durability from 6 to 14 months
Complete elimination of peeling issues
40% reduction in production waste
By eliminating the underlying plastic layer and switching to a roll-to-roll production system, the company tripled its production speed. The implementation of fully automatic perforation machines enabled customers to receive completely customized label designs in high volumes.
Today, Kerman Ehya Barchasb, with 15 years of experience and utilizing the most advanced screen printing equipment, produces products trusted by the largest manufacturers in the rubber industry, including:
Tire manufacturers (tire labels for permanent marking)
Hose and belt manufacturers (for technical specifications)
Tire retreaders (for recycling information)
Currently, the company is collaborating with Barez-Kurdistan and Iran-Yasa to develop tire barcodes, having achieved significant advancements in this field. Future plans include international market expansion through a partnership with Intermarket Russia to enter the Russian Federation market.
The workshop's equipping with online quality control systems and investment in Nano-pigment research form part of the company's long-term strategy to consolidate its position as the industry leader in rubber label manufacturing.
